Hickvison/ Synology and time sync

Ok this is actually driving me potty!
i am simply unable to sync my x2 hickvision cameras to display and hold the correct time!
if i try and change the sync options in synology nothing works at all the display of time remains the same (wrong)
the only time i seem to be able to affect the time is when i locate the camera within its own browser and i seem to be able to config it here OK when i click manual sync but then it looses itself within days!!
any suggestions?

managed to sort it-
Synology settings did not overrule any time changes etc even when i seletced for synology to manage the time....!
anyhow logging into each camera directly on WEB i used pool.ntp.org for both cameras it automatically sorted the time on both... lets hope it stays correct!!!
