I have a DS-7616NXI-K2/16P NVR with several Hikvision cameras attached. I have enabled Hik-connect access, and setup Hik-connect on my Android mobile which appears to have full functionality, with control of cameras etc. Now I am trying to get similar access from a PC, using a browser. I am able to login to the webpage at isa.hik-vision.com, entering my email and password. But once on the page, I see my NVR, and it says Status \ Online, but there are no tabs, and no menu on the left of the page.

From all I have neen reading, I should see an icon by the device and be able to access "Live View" and other settings using the tabs and menu, similar to the NVR control screen. But I see no icon, or tabs and menu. It's the same story on Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.

So what am I missing?

Some of these things are browser dependent.

Try Pale Moon or Internet Explorer (yeah we know but many of these systems are still centered around it) is still available and Windows still uses features of it.

How to enable native Internet Explorer in Windows 10 and 11:
  1. Open Notepad:
  2. Copy then paste the single line of code below into Notepad:
  3. CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application").Visible=true
  4. Save as OpenIE.vbs
  5. Make sure the the file name ends in .vbs not .txt, If it ends in .txt you must rename to .vbs
  6. Create a shortcut to the above file and double-click it anytime you want native Internet Explorer
  7. Download any of the plug-in the NVR or camera asks for.

Thanks - Hard to believe that Hikvision would not support current browsers. I only bought the NVR recently (DS-7616NXI-K2/16P) and it tells me the firmware is up to date.
So I tried your suggestion and the .vbs file does cause Explorer to open and display the Login page. I logged in, but now I am looking at a completely blank page.

I was not prompted to download or install any plugins.
