I have a HIK NVR DS-7716NI-I4/16P
It is a little loud for my liking and I have changed the internal fan and Powersupply fan to more of a silent version but the fact that they are 60mm means it will be noisy.
As i'm planning on using HIK door bell and 7" monitors keeping cameras on a isolated network seems pointless.
I'm wondering if a better approach is to just upgrade my switch to a POE version and vlan off the cameras NVR.
So my main question i'm looking for some advice is are there any recommendations on non-POE NVR and are they more quite? My understanding is that the power supply will likely be much smaller as it wont need 48v rail to power the on board POE switch.
