Hello guys, kindly help me out.
I have a DS-2SE4C425MWG-E/26(F0) PTZ I am trying to upgrade/update its firmware but all in vain. I have set the server IP at 192.168.1.128, and disabled firewalls and antivirus.
Then I restarted the camera, and it detected the server, but it wouldn't complete the upgrade. It stopped at Transmitting. WhatsApp Image 2024-11-27 at 14.22.11_f3ef9d7e.jpg

Hmmm...... the instructions attached below say to set the server to a static IP of 192.0.0.128, not 192.168.1.128. :idk:

When I set 192.0.0.128 for the server, the camera doesn't recognize the server. I read an article saying, "All hik IP cameras that have firmware version 5.0 and above no longer use 192.0.0.128 for the server side.

The Hikvision tftp updater does not handle firmware files larger than 32MB.
It looks like the firmware for your camera is nearly 300MB.
The fix for that problem is to use the Scott Lamb Python2 clone of the tftp updater - no filesize limit.
