Hello, I appreciate you taking the time to read this post. I currently have a few cameras setup at home with a static ip address. I'm able to view the cameras using a browser from anywhere I travel. I currently have the firefox browser on my Android cell phone and can log into the cams without issue. The problem is, of course, I don't have the web component plugin installed so the browser can't actually provide the live view of cams. Is there a way to install the HIK web component plugin on an Android device? I'm not enthused on using a third party app or website, I'm hoping to setup direct access through a browser, if possible. I appreciate your time.

I recommend using the iVMS-4500 app.

As Bink says use iVMS-4500. As you have a static IP address you can setup the connection to your Android device using the IP/Domain method rather than using Hik Connect.

I appreciate the suggestions. I've seen the app, and didn't realize it could be used in such a way. Awesome. :headbang:
