I have 4 HIKVISION cameras (not China version).
I have been using HIK Connect app for a while and I am happy with it (it is quite slow until I get picture, but I can perhaps live with that).
However, last week, 3 of the cameras doesn't load correctly (no picture). I did som trial and error (changing the resolution, etc).
After a while I figured out that it start working well again when I turned off the encryption function in the app for each camera.
Can someone tell me what the encryption do and if it is necessary?
