Greetings All,
I've been searching high and low to a solution to this one. Any ideas how to shut up the beeping when either (a) pressing the buttons on the front of the NVR (DS7716NIE4) or (b) using the IR remote control? Numerous product manuals make reference to pressing and holding the MENU/WIPER button for 5 seconds to disable the "Audible Key Beep" however that doesn't seem to work in my case. I've tried doing that using the physical buttons on the front of the NVR as well as the IR remote control to no avail. Basically, the NVR will beep anytime a button is pressed and it's super annoying. It does not make any sound when using the mouse interface. Before you say "well, just use the mouse" I was hoping for a more permanent solution short of disconnecting the speaker within the NVR.
