Hikvision camera on Blue Iris

I started working at a new job in which my boss has given me the task of finding a better way to record license plates for a neighborhood. The entire system is Hikvision cameras except for one EasternCCTV that will most likely be replaced due to encoding issues. I would like to find a camera in Hikvision's line of products that has the most effective HLC, or if there is another solution you can suggest I am more than open to new ideas. I'm kind of learning as I go here.

TexasNative...Have you looked into the Hikvision DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZHS8/P (8-32mm lens) I've installed this camera and right out the box it has worked flawlessly! I think this should suit you just fine! Good Luck Brother!

Look at the lpr forums. Setting up an lpr takes work, also trial and error.
