hello, i have 2 ip cameras, both 2cd2t32. both of them has V5.4.0 build 160530 firmware. one of them i believe is bricked, as from yesterday continue to reboot but after factory reset from web not shows up (on wireshark i see when i power up the camera showing 192.0.0.64). tried to tftp on the camera after setup 192.0.0.128 on pc, but when tftp start nothing happen (inserted on tftp folder the firmware). the other, already controlled with ivms stopped working and showing "diasbled or not connected".

can somebody help me with unbrick the camera? i need to know if there is a newer hikvision tftp server (i have v1 from 2007, downloaded from internet) or my version is ok and what else can i do before rma the camera? i can't ssh, telnet ping the camera.

did someone get same behavior as i with the second camera? what can i try to do as i can't access somehow the camera?

Does the camera show in SADP? Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co. Ltd.
With the PC IP address of 192.0.0.128 try a
ping -t 192.0.0.64
power cycle the camera and see the results.
Normal would be 2 or 3 responses a couple of seconds after power on with none after that.
If this repeats the camera is in a bootloop.
A common problem for the tftp updater not working could be the PC on WiFi, or the Windows firewall blocking the inbound traffic from tftpserve.exe (Windows Firewall, Advanced, Inbound rules).

well, hello again. tried again with bricked camera. indeed, ping comes up for 2-3 times after power on again. started again tftp and it sows me that camera "upgraded". after that tried to change the ip from pc and ping 192.168.1.64 and works. but when tried to access http://192.168.1.64 received "connection refused". even on sadp nothing shows... what i must to do further?

OK, so the tftp updater is working, and you are getting a 'System updated' completion message?
But with what exact firmware?
It sounds like the loaded firmware is not valid for your camera and is rejected at bootup.

The EN/ML firmware for your camera is here : DOWNLOAD PORTAL
However - with 5.4.0 already installed, the camera is likely to prohibit downgrading to an earlier revision.
On the earlier versions of the 'upgrade' program, after the tftp update, before the reboot, telnet access was left available.
To check this out, when the 192.168.1.64 address responds to a ping, see also if you can get to a prompt with 'telnet 192.168.1.64'

yes, i get system updated with 5.4.0.160530. strange, tried to reload the same fw, but this time i don't get tftp working... i don't know if i can use 5.4.5. one more thing: after "system updated" what i must to do? rebooting the camera? how long i must waiting after updating?

morning,

strange thing: today i powered up the camera and tadada: can ping 192.168.1.64, camera respond to web, etc!.... don't know what it happens

unplug the power, wait for about 25 min and restart the camera. it works again for a couple of minutes, then start rebooting... i will leave the camera powered to see if it stops rebooting.

hmmmmm. leaved powered on for more than 30 minutes, stopped rebooting, but now both front led's remains lightning....
