Hikvision Chrome Playback Support with DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S NVR

Hi all,

I've just upgraded my old DS-7608 E2 NVR to the newer DS-7608NXI-I2 and have realised that playback isn't working in Chrome. I believe I'm running the latest firmware V4.40.416 build 210108 (NVR_K51_H92_X_BL_ML_STD_V4.40.416_210108). Liveview, camera settings all work fine, it's just playback. Playback works fine in IE.

I'm going around in circles reading posts about whether or not actual video playback is supported in Chrome, as it seems it's suported with the non Accusense version.

Considering this is supposed to be their latest I series NVR made in Jan 2021 I really assumed Hikvision would have got their asses in to gear with browser compatibility.

Is there a way I can get it to work, or newer firmware I should be using?
