Hikvision Configure Questions

Hi,

I had a couple questions regarding setup and configuration, hoping someone can help answer.
Current setup is Hikvision NVR 7616 >>> PoE Switch >>> 2342 Turret IP Cams (x14)

I noticed when I configure the cameras via the NVR management console and then log in directly via IP to each camera webui, that the settings differ from what was set via NVR.

Is there a time period of when the configuration from the NVR propagates to each camera?
As best practice, should I configure each camera directly via webui or through the NVR?

I always set the cameras up in the web GUI then the nvr gets told what to do.
As yes your right there ends up a miss match of settings otherwise

Thanks for the reply! I guess its safe to say the config in the camera takes priority over the config in the NVR.
