Hikvision DS-2CD2042WD-I A very bad picture

I did a reset to settings
Firmware version: IPC - DS_R6_EN_STD_5.5.0_170725

No matter what I do the picture is very white, and corrosive.




A much cheaper camera

Is this a new camera? Is the plastic protective film still over the front of the glass?

Did it used to be OK?
