I want to connect the following external microphone to my hikvision network bullet camera.

I don't know how to connect the cables from the mic to the audio input of my hikvision camera in the following picture. I know that the red cable is for power supply, but I'm stuck with the white end. I've got the camera powered with POE. The 'AUDIO IN' in the picture is for 3.5mm connector similar to headphone jack.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

I'm still getting no audio from external microphone.

Ok so this is how I've got the external microphone connected to my Hikvision camera.

As you can see, I've used the following to allow connection to audio in of camera.

Does it matter that the audio jack is 'TS'?

I read that it should be ok from here.

Below are the settings I've applied.

I'm still at a loss as to how I get the audio working. Anymore insight will be greatly appreciated.

Bridge out the stereo plug when soldering the cables
