Hikvision DS-7204HGHI-SH/A IP camera problem

Dear all,

I have a Hikvision with DS-7204HGHI-SH/A with two analog cameras conencted. Device is connected to LAN, and my IP Camera (not Hikvison, it's no name) is connected to the same LAN via Wifi. Now I am trying to add that camera to mz DS-7204HGHI-SH/A. In configuration, when I go to IP cameras there is an option "Custom protocol" but it dissapears in second and I can't select it.

In other house I have Hikvision DS-7716NI-ST and this combination works with no problems, but in config/IP cameras option "Custom protocol" does not dissapear and I can select it and make custom protocol with no problems.

I tried to contact Hik vision, but there is no answer for a week now, so please help.

A bit of a long shot - if you are using IE, try (temporarily) adding the IP address of the DS-7204HGHI-SH/A to 'Compatibility view' and see if that makes any difference to the button behaviour.
And if you have another browser, say Chrome, try that as well.

What is the FW version on your DVR, is it American on European version?
It seams that 72xx HGHI doesn't support ONVIF and IP camera protocols other than HIKVISION one.
According to the User manual, only 73xx and higher models support custom protocol settings.
I am also looking into connecting Panasonic IP camera to 7208HGHI-SH/A, but so far no luck, if you find the way to do it, please let me know,
