Can someone tell me how to get new hikvision cameras V5.3.3 to work on a 4 channel hikvision NVR - DS-7604NI-E1/4P V3.0.6 ?????


I think i need firmware above 3.3.3????

thanks.. have done this to one of my recorders.
but the issue after updating the firmware I can no longer log into the unit.
from the front panel it just shows a square character for the username and I cannot type admin in
SADP fails to allow any changes it returns "Device Rejected"

Any ideas on what to do from here?

What is the exact model number of your camera? "new hikvision cameras v5.3.3" doesn't actually mean much. Please include the full-number please. Also is it Chinese-market or English version?

Did you update the NVR through the web interface? or did you TFTP it?

web interface, bare in mind the unit now has an IP of 0.0.0.0 an now wont set DHCP or STatic via SADP

Try do it again using TFTP via Hikvision tools.

You have an xxx5 camera which have compatibility issues, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.

Update your NVR to v3.3.4 using the GUI from a USB stick.

I believe OP is on 3.3.4.

Can you even get to the menu to update the firmware without typing in the username and password which is sorta where OP is now.

Seems like something wen wrong when OP updated and can't even access the unit properly.

You can TFTP 3.3.4 on and it'll reset the password.

you want to restore the old firmware via TFTP, change the interface language to English and then to update the firmware version
