I'm hoping someone else has had this issue where you remotely login to the hikvision dvr and you're not able to start live view, but you're also not prompted to enter the encryption key to start live view. Sometimes I do get prompted for it.. but most of the time I don't and I'm not able to access the live view. I'm using a hikvision HVR and using internet explorer on a win 10 PC remotely if that helps any. I've disabled encryption on a nvr at one location to avoid this problem. Unfortunately on the HVR at this location, disabling the encryption key is not an option in platform access.
