Hikvision Ezviz Mini Trooper Totally Wireless Camera Tested

Has anyone tried one of these yet?

I had purchased an Arlo Pro to test but I read that it can't do local storage only without uploading to the cloud (super lame).

From the doc it sounds like the Mini Trooper can record locally only but limited to only 128GB which makes no sense to me. But I couldn't tell if it required any cloud services. Hopefully not.

Did it win out against the Arlo Pro?

Why a link you have to subscribe to? Looks like "Personal - End User" is $99/qtr.

Interesting question though as considering an Arlo type system as supplemental to a real system for various reasons - but not worth $99/qtr.
