Hi there, I'm trying to find the Hikvision firmware for my LaView cameras. I found this thread which matched the LV-PBK80804 up with the Hikvision DS-2CD2085FWD-I, but the LV-PBK80804C version has no SD card slot (although there appear to be solder pads on the board for the SD card socket which I'm sure saved at most a dollar in parts cost).
My camera is running firmware 5.5.3 build 171121. Hikvision's site has 5.6.3 build 190923, 5.5.61 build 180718, and 5.5.0 build 170725. I tried all 3 versions but got a firmware mismatch error for each. If I remember right you have to upgrade first within the same version series (so 5.5.something) to switch it over to Hikvision before upgrading to newer Hikvision releases but I've either got the wrong camera model or I'm not using the right release version.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thank you!

Ever figure this one out? I'm in the same boat

Reason I want to switch to hik firmware is so I can send onvif commands through blue iris to enable/disable wdr based on sunrise. I can't get an xml file readout of the available commands using la view firmware

This is all Hikvision G1 firmware. You just need the TFTP updater to push the firmware. I have done it myself, real easy.

you've updated this exact laview cam with the latest g1 firmware? i see there are a few versions for "g1" listed as latest

a bit confusing

link:

Firmware | Hikvision USA | The world’s largest video surveillance manufacturer

IPC_G1_EN_STD_5.6.6_210625
IPC_G1_EN_STD_5.6.3_190923
IPCM_G1_EN_STD_5.6.0_190507

etc..
You use the latest 5.66 firmware. You will need to use the Scott Lamb python script tftp server as the camera expects the tftp server to be found at 192.168.1.128

Thank you. I couldn't get it working at the default 192.0.0.1.
