HIKVISION Hik-Connect Account forgotten

Hello Dear Sir,

I'm a tech guy and my client was having trouble remembering his email address for hik-connect web login.
We are planning to make a new one but cannot add because the seial number of the DVR was already used by his old account.

This is the detail of his DVR:

Model - DS-7216HQHIF2/N
Version - 3.4.6 Build 161217
Hardware Version - 0x91500
Serial Number - 709323027

Also attached file is the photo of the info.

I hope you can unbound this device from the old account.

Hey earlfajardo, I had this happen to me in the past. From memory I had to go to the Hik-Connect website and do the 'forgot password' process. Once that was corrected I could log in from that web page and deauthorise the device.

As I recall, it has to be done from the website, it cannot be done by an app.
