Hikvision HiWatch & Bird Box IP Camera

Hi,

Apologies if this is in the wrong category.

I have a IP camera inside a bird box that can be viewed on an app (xmeye or icseepro). It can also be viewed on IE by browsing to the IP address of the camera.

I have just got a Hikvision HiWatch NVR and thought I'd be able to view the camera on there. The NVR discovers the camera but it is giving a black screen. Is it a configuration issue or is it just not compatible.

i've got an xmeye camera that encodes only in h265X which is giving me some problems.

Try to see if u can change it to h264 or h265 without the "X" in the app or ie browser.

It was already set to h.265 I have changed it to h.265x and it worked.
