Getting the hang of it
I once bought a cheap Hikvision HWN-2104H-4P just to test how Hikvision camera system works. Well, compared to Dahua, not good. Overall, seems to do the simple job ok, shows live image on local display and IVMS-apps, records and playbacks.
Installed it for my sister couple of years ago, and since then I have tried to get motion detection area configured. This seems to be impossible because web UI does not work completely, even plugin installed it does not show the video, so I can't draw the motion detection area.
So far tested iexplore, Edge, Edge with iexplore mode, Chrome, Firefox.
Version is V4.30.080 build 210412
Also IVMS software with cloud configure does not work. It shows event configuring options placeholders but never actually loads the settings from nvr and lets me start to edit them.
Any ideas, or is this just too old?
