Hikvision iVMS-4200 web server?

Hi Everybody,

Apologies if this has been asked and answered before. I did perform a quick search, but couldn't seem to find an answer.

Can you access the Hikivision iVMS-4200 Client using a web browser?

I do notice there is a Web Server Port setting in the configuration, but all it seems to do is serve an empty page.

Am I missing something, or is this setting for something completely different?

I'm accessing but see blank page.
Why is that ?

You may need to add this page to your compatibility view settings and you may need to enable your active x settings to allow downloading of plug-ins from the recorder.

I already did all these, Cause on the same PC, I was installed iVMS-2000, and now change to 4200.
But it's still blank page.
Where I configure the Web Port (Saw Default 80) ? There is Enable/Disable Option for the Web Service ?

I have been using ivms 4200 for a while (1 year) and I think everything is fine but never got anything but this blank page.

Folks, I faced similar issue after buying DS-2CV1021G0-IDW1(B) and the answer is, that from FW 5.5.93 (
