Hikvision Live-Guard solution

I just ordered the DS-7608NI/I2 NVR and DS-2CD2347G2-LSU/SL Colorvu cameras.

Does anyone know if the Live-Guard features are built into the NVR’s firmware or if you have to download the specific firmware for the added features?

In my experience you need specific firmware if you want functionality in the Hik-connect app to arm/disarm cameras in areas and schedule things etc.

The place you purchased it from should be able to provide you with the Live Guard firmware.

Hikvision can be difficult with firmware we have moved to Dahua now days much easier to deal with their products.
