Network security is something you need to have a basic understanding of to pull off successfully; If you dont understand VPN or Port forwarding or setting any of this shit up correctly.. well then you have absolutely no business doing any of this.. you have 3 options at this point:
1. Give up on remote access, your just going to do it wrong and all your cameras are going to get destroyed by malware.
2. Self Educate your self on the technology, terminology and learn as you go..
3. Pay someone smarter than you to set all this stuff up correctly.
We'll help those whom help them selves, if you cant be bothered to do some google searching and manual reading to at least get the basics down then you'd better go for the first or last options.
I wrote the VPN Primer to cover the basics; if you are unable to understand it then im not dumbing it down any further.. minimum level of intelligence is required and its self-filtering, lots of people ask me for a step by step, no thinking required guide and I absolutely refuse to enable another generation of idiots whom just click buttons without understanding why they are doing it..
