Hikvision Model Number Help

Good morning all,

I have a couple Hikvision 2CD2142FWD-IS cameras. I have been looking at the firmware download site (Firmware | Hikvision USA | The world’s largest video surveillance manufacturer) and I am very confused by something. My cameras all came with version 5.4.5 build 170124. On the Hikvision firmware site, there are two model number options to choose from:

1) DS-2CD2142FWD-IS
2) DS-2CD2142FWD-IS(B)

I would assume the (B) means black but color has absolutely nothing to do with firmware so pretty sure that ain't right. Anyway, the drop down for DS-2CD2142FWD-IS(B) shows firmware version 5.4.5 build 170124 while the drop down for DS-2CD2142FWD-IS doesn't. I can't find the (B) on any of my hardware, boxes, paperwork, ect.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

links to the firmware for either camera downloads the same firmware, and according to this link (IPC) the firmware should be the same.
not sure why Hikvision has two different portals for firmware, i guess one is for the consumer and one for the tech, even though they dont like dealing directly with consumers.
