Hi Everyone,

I've just implemented a new Hikvision NVR for a client who have some AXIS P3727-PLE Panoramic Camera.

I was only able to connect these cameras using ONVIF, but they keep getting disconnected randomly. I've tried everything like upgrading the firmware and lowering the resolution.

Below are the errors I'm getting.

3/29/25 0:01 Exception Disconnected Network Camera D9 -- -- "Camera No.: D9
IP address: 192.168.1.16
Domain name:
Protocol: ONVIF
Management port: 80
Channel port: 4
Transfer Protocol: Auto
Extra information: Failed to get stream.(0x1b01000) -- 0x83020009
Channel name before offline:

3/29/25 0:02 Exception Connecting to IP Channel Sub-Stream Failed D9 -- -- "Camera No.: D9

Domain Name.:

Sub-Stream Connecting Failed Reason: res>720P or maxBitRate>2M"

Does anybody have any idea how to fix this issue?

Regards,

Hi, did you resolve this? Mine are doing it for the last two nights. Just after 9pm ( not exactly the same time) they all go offline except for my PTZ camera.
I’m using all Hikvision 4k cameras and DS-7616NI-M2/16P NVR
I’m going to update firmware now, but nothing has been changed afaik to cause this.

Hi TarikAA,

I've found a workaround. Instead of using ONVIF to connect to the cameras. I created custom protocols using RTSP for each channel using the following pattern.

rtsp:/<camera-ip>/axis-media/media.amp?adjustablelivestream=1&camera=1
rtsp:/<camera-ip>/axis-media/media.amp?adjustablelivestream=1&camera=2
rtsp:/<camera-ip>/axis-media/media.amp?adjustablelivestream=1&camera=3
rtsp:/<camera-ip>/axis-media/media.amp?adjustablelivestream=1&camera=4

Regards,
