I deployed a Hikvision DS-7732NI-I4, 32 channel 4k without POE ports in January 2019. This NVR ran smoothly with 25 cameras until recently.
1. Firmware V4.40.017 Build 201124
2. The 25 cameras are mixed - five 2MP, eleven 4MP, & eight 8MP.
3. Hard drives are WD Purple 4TB, Toshiba S300 5TB, & WD Purple 6TB. WD Purple 6TB installed 2022.
4. All channels are set to motion recording
5. Send and receive on a single network port on NVR. Have not maxed out network port bandwidth.

Recently a few times a week, the NVR loads Live View very slow if at all on channels 1-16. Channels 17-25 load normally, without delay. The delay happens when there is a lot of motion recording. It's as if the NVR processor(CPU) is being over utilized. A reboot of the NVR resolves the issue for the moment only to return later.
