Hikvision NVR model differences

This whole process has been really frustrating. For someone who makes such great cameras, why does this have to be so convoluted? Now with that off my chest...

I settled on buying 3x Hikvision DS-2CD2432F-IW. I bought yesterday from Amazon to get English and I am now worried since I bought from CCTV on Amazon that it's going to be Chinese. Sigh. The DS-2CD2432F-IW is the only model that has audio as far as I could tell and was around $120. Correct? Not having audio on the bullets and the domes is a deal breaker for me.

My goal NVR wise, is 4 Port POE and to avoid the 78xx model since it seems like it's mostly been locked down and right now am avoiding until convinced otherwise. I also want to be in the $150-200 range if possible. I don't ever plan on having more than 3 cameras period.

I messaged Julia with CCTV about the NI and N and she said: "DS-7604N-E1/4P is chinese version and english firmware DS-7604NI-E1/4P is english version and english firmware"

I think since I've found a seller doing NI for $165, I want to take the leap. Everyhing 7604NI/4P is at least $230. But now I'm concerned about the video source being PAL and the power source EU. If I did buy an N version because NI goes out of stock, will it have an english option I can enable? They should hire me so I can sort out their mess... but they're probably making too much money outsourcing to Swann and stuff.

Your amazon source is likely selling you china region cameras..they may display english but will brick if you try and upgrade. You can get audio on the domes - only one with a built in mic is the mini dome, others need an external mic, none have built in speakers.)
