Hi,
I am trying to get my HIKVISION NVR to record video from my cameras to a VM running FreeNAS on my network.
I would much appreciate anyone could help me with a step-by-step guide on how to get a NFS share setup on FreeNAS and then getting the HIKVISION NVR to use it.
I have managed to setup an NFS share in FreeNAS. I can see the share in the NVR menu NetHDD. Shows 0 capacity. When I attempt to initialise, it shows abnormal. I then see the correct capacity of the share but can't use it as it shows abnormal in the status field. I've tried to add a quota in FreeNAS and also in the NVR settings and still can't get it to initialise.
NVR model 7604NI-E1/4P
Firmware v3.4.2
If FreeNAS is not the way to go, I'd like to explore setting up a NFS share on a centOS 7 VM. Either solution is OK as long as one of them works
Please help. Thank you in advance.
