Hikvision port forwarding without permission?

I realize this is more of a networking question probably applicable to all cameras but how is it that Hikvision cameras can be accessed via the ivms4500 app without any port forwarding rules set up?

The only setting that applies in the app is the "port" line which is the server port, 8000. It does not ask what the http port is, however I have no forwarding rule in my router at all that applies to the camera's IP, so how is it getting through on port 8000?

(Using a TPLink router)

Any ideas?

Lol. Correct! I thought I had checked that but apparently TPLink still only puts ~10 things per page, circa 1990. To view more you have to hit "next". There it was on the second page under "IPC_Control"

While were on the subject does anyone know what these other lines are? There is no setting in the cam config page for them...
