Hikvision port & RTSP numbers

Good day


I have a Hikvision camera type 2cd2032.

I have put this camera on an internal address and an outside port on my ASUS router

I use also the Hikvision program IVMS to manage this camera

On my phone I use IP Cam viewer.

If I fill in my outside IP address and my forward port it is not possible to receive this camera

In IVMS under data remote configuration / NAT is given a port number what is total different and a different RTSP number

If I fill in this numbers on my phone in IP Cam viewer I will receive the camera.

How is that possible where are these numbers coming from?

How do these numbers pass my router

I never released this in my router

With different IP search programs I can find all my other camera’s but the Hikvision is never to be found


For all my other cameras, I did not have these problems using my outside IP address and the set port.

how is this possible?

I speculate that you have UPnP enabled on your router.
This allows UPnP devices on the LAN, such as the Hikvision camera, to automatically open ports / port forward on the router.
This is a very risky option if it is enabled on the router.
 
Well you are right i have disabled in the router this UPnP function
And the camera was gone on the phone
I switched it on and the camera was back
But what to do now
I will look into IVMS what the addresses are now as the router is disabled for UPnP
In IVMS I have also switch off the UPnP function in Network/NAT
Now i have the addresses 80 for HTTP and 554 for RTSP in IVMS /NAT
I have fill in the phone the forward port number of the router for this camera but no picture
fill in the both numbers of the hikvision NAT no picture
what is going on

I believe port 8000 is the main one that's required. I don't think HTTP is needed, and that's the most vulnerable.
But I don't know for sure at I don't use iVMS.

I opened port 80 in my router and now I have a picture on my phone.
But it must be possible to choose your own port number.
It is now that the forward port
Is fixed by the Hikvision software
It's a pity that you do not use this IVSM software
