I have two Hikvision cameras will not not allow me to log into them after a reboot without first having to re-enter my user name, password, confirm password and then fill in the three security questions. Is there some way to avoid this? My other Hikvision cameras do not have this problem. Problem cameras: DS-2CD2542FWD-IS, Firmware V5.5.53. Thanks
Hikvision requires passwords and security questions after every reboot.

Before you enter the new password etc - does SADP show the camera as 'Inactive'? ie 'reset to defaults'
With the caveat that I'm not familiar with that specific model - does it have a reset button?
If so, check it's not being held in somehow.
This is an occasional problem on models that have the external hatch with sd card and reset button, the seal can get misplaced and hold the button in.
