Hikvision Turret - mount to 4x4 post

im looking for a point in the right direction on how to mount a turret camera to a 4x4 post.

pictures and product links would really be appreciated

I would recommend using a matching junction box, and rigid steel conduit rising from the ground to the box (assuming your running the cable under ground)

When you say matching junction box are you just referring to colour?

No, a junction box made to fit that particular camera. You can find them on the HIK site.

That’s right. Matching diameter, and bolt pattern. There are generic brand boxes to

This is a Hikvision Colorvu camera that I mounted to a 4x4 vinyl post. I painted the post dark brown to blend in. I ran the wiring on the outside of the post for electrical and the Cat 6E cable, but it was inside of schedule 40 and flexible tube. I used the Hikvision juction box which was bigger than the post slightly but not by much so it didn't matter to me. Sorry I don't have a better picture right now so I used my Dahua PTZ to take a pic.
