Hikvision Turret Purchase

I'm thinking about purchasing 2-3 of these and just wanted to make sure I'm not making a bad choice. Any of you have experience with these? Any reason to avoid them? Are there better places than Amazon to purchase these?

if you value low light and night images see the thread on 2-3mp hikvision low light cams..they will be significantly better.

Ahh, good to know. I'm looking at that thread now, I think these are the two models to which you referred:

DS-2CD2325FWD-I-Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co. Ltd.
DS-2CD2335FWD-I-Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co. Ltd.

I noticed that they also have 5 and 8 MP versions. Are there any great advantages from those that justify the increased cost?

What happens if you change the camera settings from 4Mp to 2Mp? Does that improve the night vision?

the 5 and 8mp are not low light cams.
