I'm unsure if this is a camera, VMS, or bandwidth issue.
The problem is I just added a 4th camera to Milestone 2.1. My ACTI E73 cameras are working fine and have been for a few years. When I added a 4th camera (Hikvision Turret) to the system, the image stutters on the Milestone remote viewing app. The image takes longer than the other 3 cameras to come up. When it does it stutters from black to grey to image to grey over and over again. Sometimes it stays on image after a while.
I've also noticed that functionality on my VMS has been very slow. Seems like the CPU is pegged. All cameras were always recording. I have since switched back to on motion, yet the problem still exists.
My gut feeling is the computer I have can't handle the 4th camera and recording all the time.
