Last few months hikvision is pushing upgrades to hik-connect because security reasons(what ever they may be) and end users as the end users are, click and get the upgrade.
Any users with wifi cameras that are wirelessly on cloud, DO NOT UPGRADE
You will lose ability to have camera on cloud if its wireless network.Meaning if you got clients with this scenario , you will for sure get calls.
Only way to downgrade is via serial connection(and that is questionable, if camera got a failsafe firmware to load its harder to flash older).
