I recently changed my internet router and finally got the NVR and cameras to connect to each other and the internet Now however my NVR keeps resetting about every 24 hours. I have made sure all the connections are tight, the only thing plugged into the UPS and outlet is the NVR (tried another UPS as well), HDD is showing status as OK, tried reformatting HDD in case it was a space storage issue. This wouldnt be a problem if my camera did not assign themselves different IP addresses every time the NVR restarts so I need to go in and reprogram the camera so I can "see" them.
Can anyone help me
a)figure out why the NVR keeps resetting
or
b) assign a static IP to each camera so even if it does reset i do not loose video until I can get back to the NVR?
