Hi All

I had 8 domes cams setup at my last house and never had an issue with rain but now I’ve set them up at my new house and have found the rain hits the front of the house and is leaving rain droplets all over the dome.. see images

Ive found rain shields on line but the all seem to be for wall mount..

How do you shield a roof mount.. is there a Shield for that?

Thanks

IMO, it looks like it's from blowing rain and there's not much you can do except move that dome back as close as you can to where those 2 trim moldings meet at the brick. A shield that would protect that dome where it is now would likely obstruct the cam's view and cause IR glare at night.

It appears any cam form factor...dome, turret or bullet...would have been doused in its current spot with wind-blown rain....IMHO.
