How do I insert SD Card into internal Monitor - dhi-vth1550ch-s

Hi I have Dahua Internal monitor and i would like add an SD card so i can record the doorbell ring - i was talking to Dahau and they they were not able to help = there is an SD slot on the bottom but the SD micro card is was to small.
Any idea how i can add the SD card -

If micro is too small then it must be a mini or full size. SD card - Wikipedia

The specs of that monitor says micro so it’s strange it doesn’t fit.

The datasheet says micro SD.

So take a torch and shine it into the hole, see where the golden connectors are and orientate your card accordingly and slot it in.

MicroSD card should fit in here (see pic).
If it is physically installed but does not show up in the menu, it's a software/firmware issue.
What firmware version are you running on the VTH?

So don't you need a tray you insert the micro in then insert the tray into the slot ?

yes, off course.
If you don't "trust" the slot from outside, just remove the back cover (6 screws) and place it directly in the slot soldered on the pbc.

Omg you are genius!! That worked .. I didn't even know that was there and could not find any documentation.

How do I set up to record now ?

thanks for your reply - i didnt get manuals and I have looked online but having a bit of trouble understanding which is why i reached out - not where in any manual did it say there was a slot in the back for the SD card
