Ok. Good news and bad news.

Good news...the time problem seems to be fixed. Sorry about that. I thought I had the latest update.

Bad news...a new problem popped up. Every other minute or so I'm getting this while monitoring...

It lasts not more than two seconds. It's happening to both my DS-2CD2032-I
and DS-2CD3332-I.

Never happened before. The bars don't happen at the same time on both cameras.

This is only happening in BI. I've been watching Live View at the same time and Live
View is clear.

Ok. Lets try it again...

Also, now the Hikvision camera that I originally had the problem with? Now its
freezing up on me.

I see the yellow icon and according to the Help section its some type of conflict?
My cpu % is around 54%.

Goodness. I haven't seen video corruption that extensive in a long time. I suspect you may have a network problem. Perhaps a faulty router, switch, or network cable. Maybe even a network cable is picking up interference from nearby electrical wiring.

It sounds like the problem is corrupted i-frames. You can probably improve upon it by reducing the iframe interval to match the frame rate. That is what solved it for my 5MP chinese cams years ago. At least that should make the corruption last less time. You might even be able to set the iframe interval lower than the frame rate on Hikvision cameras. I am not sure. It might help.

I have no idea what's going on.

This new event just started after I upgraded and its only showing in BI, not in Hikvision's Live View.

I did try reducing my iFrame to 15 to match my Frame Rate. No change.

I'm starting to think to just switch to a Hikvision NVR and take BI out of the loop.

Excuse me while I go cry :)

Back from my cry :)

It gets stranger...I did a manual record to try and capture this, whatever it is. Ready for this?
It doesn't show up!

Is that strange or what?

I also installed Hikvision's ivms-4200 pcnvr. No problems showing up on that.

So far:

Blue Iris - bars of death
Hikvision (web interface) - No problem
ivms-4200 - No problem.

FIXED!!

I wrote Ken. He wanted to remote in and look at it, but also wanted me to try
to increase the Receive Buffer.

First I went from the default 3.0 to 10. The problem became less frequent. I
jumped to 30. Gone!

Bigs thanks to everybody who helped me on here!

Good to hear.

I wonder what the difference is.. I have 2032 cams as well, an no issues at all like you had, all set at 3.0MB buffer. Looked in the Help, no mention of "receive buffer".

Any changes on CPU usage now?

No clue. I have another Hikvision dome inside and it was fine.

My cpu has been pretty stable at about 70% with 6 total cameras.
