How Many Cameras Would You Recommend for This Layout?

Let me preface this by saying that I just joined the forum yesterday and after 6 hours of research I found that I have LOTS to learn.

Anyway, I'm setting up home security system and so far I've decided to NOT to go with the Amcrest POE cameras that I had initially planned on buying (due to all of the negative feedback on this board from folks unlike me that clearly know what they are doing). Then I spent about an hour deciding whether to get the Huisun PTZX cameras that folks were raving about last year, but then saw they had some failures. I'm reasonably handy around the house but I want a professional to install the system so it is done right. My question for the forum is what are your thoughts on his recommendations for camera locations and # of cameras if I want to see a full 360 of the house? Note that his estimate was based on the 83 degree field of view Amcrest POEs that I was originally going to buy, and I'm not sure how much that would change if I go with the Dahuas listed above.

FYI Amcrest cameras are rebranded Dahua.. not alot of negative feedback that I'm aware of; but we typically suggest you just buy OEM cameras instead of re-brands.

And blind spots are no big thang; its not like your house is a casino or anything.. the key is covering choke points, high value items, and common entry points.. recording every breath and footstep a criminal may take is not the objective; all you need is identification capabilities.. if someone walks past a camera, then a few mins later walks past again this time with some tools in hand or a bike in tow.. you dont need the video of grabbing the objects them selves as long as you got something you can use to identify the perp.

people trying to get full 360 degree coverage without any blind spots are often using too wide angle of cameras, all those 90 degree angles mean your using 2.8mm lenses everywhere.. congrats you have no blind spots; you also wont get any ID shots unless your lucky enough to lure the perp within 5-10ft of the camera.. never use anything less than 3.6mm outside; personally im never going to install another camera outside thats less than 6mm unless I have some damn good reason for it.
