That's nothing, there was a family of 22 people living in a 2 bedroom apartment across from an old college apartment I had.
There was also a teenager on the news a couple years ago who's house party got out of hand to the point that the main floor of the parent's house collapsed.
Edit. here's video:
Just a casual non-scientific observation, this and several other instances of collapsed floors from large parties in houses / apartments I've seen on the news involve houses/apts with engineered floor trusses or engineered floor joists. It does make sense that this type of floor joist may be less able to handle large dynamic loads.
Reminds me of another apartment with a hoarder neighbor. I saw inside a couple times and decided to try estimate the weight of the contents of his apartment and IIRC came up with around 60,000 lbs (in a 1 bedroom, 3rd floor apartment).
I once knew some kids that were raised in a four room house. That was probably only about 600 sqft or so.
There were 14 kids. They thought nothing of it.
They all survived.
