How much watts does a R-ZE need?

My plan was to use the edge router x as power but that did not work.

Now my new plan is to get a poe injector or a poe switch and power the camera with that.

you need 802.3af not ubiquiti's passive poe

The ER-X is a pass through POE device only, to power a camera you’d need either a POE injector or a POE switch like the Edgeswitch8-60w.
