How to fix Ethernet Cable on Dahua Cam [IPC HFW-5442E-ZE]?

Hi guys,

please excuse as it might sound like a very primitive question.
How do you mount the Ethernet Cable on your cams? The delivered adapter to get it water-protected seems much to small to my mind.

So: Do you use it? If yes how?
If no, do you do anything else to keep it waterproof (e.g. tape it...)?

I also have the waterproof junction-box PFA121 so it wouldn't be to essential. But how do you seal the hole towards the wall? It is not completely waterproof, is it?

Is for putting over the cable before terminating it so it doesn't work well with pre-terminated cables.
Also you are missing the rubber O ring from the camera side cable which sits on the lip below the "thread" section.

Self amalgamating tape does well in these cases.

For the junction box, if you want to seal holes use erm.... sealant :) Silicone etc.

When I'm terminating RJ45's I always backfill the connector with quick drying silicone.
It helps to waterproof but also helps on strain relief and wire pull out.
