How to get data off NVR faster then USB port

Hello and good day,

I m trying to find out if there is a faster way to download the data from the NVR then the USB port. I have to download 3 weeks 4 cameras from the NVR. I thought i could just take the 8TB hhd out of the NVR and put it in an external housing then connect to PC and just copy the data over to the PC but that did not work since the NVR( Reolink) uses a different format. I have been trying to use an external drive on the USB port but after some time the transfer stops and crashes ( and it takes days to transfer) Now the only way I found that works is using an USB stick and download 1 day at a time. 1 day take a couple of hours to transfer since the USB port is so slow.

Is there a better way of doing this or am I missing something?

Have you tried connecting to the NVR via network connection?
I'm not familiar with a Reolink NVR, but you may be able to connect to the NVR and download the files directly.
Next time, avoid buying anything Reolink, except for their door bell cam.

Hi yes i have tried that and did work but i still had the problem that it would crash all the time.
