I am using a Dahua IPC-HFW5842EP-ZE-2712-S3 camera that is on a local network. The camera can send IVS events (like line crossing) to my listening server, but I cannot access the camera from the internet to retrieve snapshots via an HTTP request.
With Hikvision ISAPI, I can include the snapshot in the event payload, but I haven't found a way to do this with Dahua cameras. Is it possible to configure the Dahua camera to push snapshots directly with the IVS event payload or some other method to include the snapshot without needing an HTTP request from outside the local network?
Any advice on whether this is possible or alternative solutions would be appreciated!
