How to reset cameras?

Hi newbie here!

what is better ways/methods to reset a lot of cameras? is window or mac better for this job?

I have 25+ ip cameras that is compatible with dahua nvr. We are switching to Uniview NVRs and all cameras need a reset due to IP conflict

what i do now is connect each camera to my windows laptop resetting them and plug back to the NVR

That sounds like a quick and reasonable approach to use for the (unspecified) cameras if they don't have an externally-accessible reset button.
