Hi,
I have 4x IPC-HFW2531T-ZAS cameras connected to a Dahua recorder (NVR4208-8P-4KS2).
One camera has 2.460.0000.15.R. 2017-09-07 and the rest have 2.622.0000000.18.R. 2017-11-10,
I'd like to upgrade all to latest available FW.
I downloaded 819629_DH_IPC-HX2X3X-Rhea_MultiLang_PN_Stream2_V2.800.0000005.0.R.190325.zip
based on information here: Firmware
The zip file contains a couple of dozen files, please confirm which file should I use, and how to do the upgrade?
I tried DH_IPC-HX2X3X-Rhea_MultiLang_PN_Stream2_V2.800.0000005.0.R.190325.bin (since that seemed like
obvious choice) through the recorder, and the got a notification to stop recording, or the upgrade may fail.
How do I stop the recording?
Then I tried logging "directly" to the camera (using the recorder as gateway, using recorder IP address and port 10081),
and I was able to start the upgrade, and the bar progressed fast to about 10%, and stayed there, nothing happened for
5-10 minutes, so I thought the upgrade is halted.
I also tried the config tool, but that is not able to find the cameras. The recorder sits in the lan (192.168.1.108, DHCP)
and I can see it OK, but the cameras are behind the recorder using 10.1.1.6x as IP addresses. These are PoE cameras,
and the recorder is my only PoE switch, so I cannot easily connect a PC to 10.1.1.x subnet.
Sorry for being a total beginner, I did google but was not able to find the answers, maybe used wrong search words.
Appreciate any help to get the cameras upgraded.
