I have a few cameras. I have an old Z230 that is EOL. I have seen other people get this one. Is it okay to use for 4 cameras?

With substreams, a 4th gen is more than capable to run 30+ cameras, so yeah you will be fine.

@wittaj They shipped a WD40EZRZ 5400 RPM drive and it’s slow.

I can put a Toshiba N300 NAS drive in it, an SSD or It has an NVME M.2 slot on the motherboard.

What would be the best option in your opinion?

I would go with the the M.2 slot.
