You just know some lives are going to be turned upside down and/or destroyed by this event. Not just in Florida but in parts farther north in other States. I'm just glad it's not headed to my part of Florida but there are still threats of flooding and tornados. I'm guessing maybe 45-50 MPH wind gusts at most and only 2" of rain. Hopefully none of y'all are in the path.

I thought hurricane season was behind us?!? :( I honestly don’t know how all of you deal with this kind of weather?!?

First time I experienced an earth quake, hurricane, volcano eruption. I just packed my gear and just left! :headbang:

Didn’t look back once . . .

Nah, the worst ones we get are mostly Sept/Oct. Another month to go yet and there’s another one baking down by the Yucatán again already ..

Is that your first ever lottery prize camera blown off the front porch, still in the shipping box?

We lost power about 6 am this morning, got it back before 6:30 pm. Conditions didn't clear up until after 2 pm, so kudos to the crews working for Duke Energy to get the power back on. Also thankful for the 7KW generator that powers most of our downstairs. Ran like a champ all day long. Cleaned off the deck and driveway this afternoon, got the largest branches cleared off the back yard after the power came back. Still lots more cleanup to get done tomorrow, though.

THIS SHIT SERIOUSLY PISSES ME OFF.

Excerpt:

Despite the volume of attacks, no obvious camera evidence turned up.
"There’s cameras that look out there but it's so dark and there's not enough pixels to tell anything," the Southfork rep said, noting that police reports had been filed there in Gurdon, Arkansas.

Just goes to show ya.......misinformation and misunderstanding when it comes to proper selection of surveillance cameras, their placement and configuration is commonplace and widespread. :idk:

Absolutely catch this guy and stab him the same amount of times in the face. As he did to the tires on the vehicles!

If he lives cut off both his hands & feet!

...with a DULL knife! :headbang:

On a more serious note the impact this has on everyone from the driver, company, owner/operator, to those needing the cargo on these trucks.

The entire system is dependent on hard working truck drivers transporting all manner of goods / supplies.

Hope very much this person / persons are caught and the proper justice is dispensed!

Talking to friends and family while viewing a few videos on YouTube. The amount of damage and destruction around these four States is crazy insane!

Bridges, roads, entire neighbourhoods just washed away. :(

Winter is literally just around the corner and these poor people are out house / businesses. If there is any silver liner if that can even be said is there will be lots of new infrastructure in those areas.

Joe Biden told the people of North Carolina they had no more supplies for us.
I called Franklin County Sheriff Kevin White & he said “that’s BS.”
Franklin County has been running round the clock convoys on behalf of my office since Saturday night.
Their deputies have not slept. Their leadership has helped deliver more for the state than I could have ever imagined.
They will continue to serve as our central state supply center until Western North Carolina is completely self sustainable.
When Joe Biden and the federal government failed to act, Sheriff White and his team took the bull by the horns.
